MATERIALS LIST
Felt for the body 8x12cm
Felt for the beak 2x2cm
2 small buttons for eyes
selection of embroidery thread, (eg, pearl cotton 8)
Toy stuffing
plus the usual needle, pins, scissors etc
SKILL RATING
Cut 2 body shapes from the felt and begin joining them together by stitching round the edge in blanket stitch using the embroidery thread. Leave a small gap open, push in a little toy stuffing and them continue stitching to close up the gap. Attach the 2 buttons for eyes, with some random straight stitches for decoration and a few fly stitches on the tummy for feathers. Cut the beak from the felt and sew into position.

TIPS & HINTS
Add a backstitched heart on the back, with the initial of who the Owl is for inside.
